The Story

The young family approached us to transform their first home into an energy-efficient, comfortable space that would lower costs and benefit the environment. Focused on sustainability, they wanted a home that met their current needs and was future-proof.

We integrated energy-saving technologies like underfloor heating, insulation, and an air source heat pump, aligning the design with their lifestyle. Using high-quality materials, we created a home that reduced bills and supported eco-conscious living.

Starting with a comprehensive retrofit plan, they selected a light retrofit option to stay within budget while allowing for future system upgrades. Our team designed the mechanical and electrical systems, including underfloor heating, ASHP, and EV charger, while specifying insulation upgrades. The project was completed on schedule, with our designers overseeing key stages to ensure quality and meet the family’s expectations.

Underfloor Heating

The homeowner chose underfloor heating for its energy efficiency and comfort.

This system maintains an even temperature, eliminates cold spots, and reduces energy consumption, lowering heating bills; Ideal for eco-conscious families.

Full Insulation

The homeowner added internal cavity wall, loft, and suspended floor insulation to keep their home warmer, greener, and more affordable to heat.

These upgrades reduce heat loss, maintain a steady temperature and lower heating bills. An airtight loft hatch was also fitted for extra protection against heat loss.

Air Source Heat Pump

The customer opted for an air source heat pump, an eco-friendly solution that provides efficient heating and hot water while lowering energy costs and carbon emissions.

EV Charger
